Custom Ski Map Serving Tray | Choose Your Mountain
$329.95
Made for serving. Designed for display.
Some of the best mountain memories happen around the table.
Bring your favorite mountain to your next gathering with a handcrafted Custom Ski Map Serving Tray by Torched Peaks. Choose from more than 150 ski resorts across North America, then select a solid walnut, oak, or cherry frame to complement the detailed birch ski map within.
Precision-engraved trails, chairlifts, and mountain landmarks unfold across a layered birch map, bringing familiar terrain to life. Substantial solid-wood construction and furniture-grade craftsmanship give each tray the presence of fine home décor—with the practicality to become part of your everyday rituals.
The map face is sealed beneath heavy-duty, scratch-resistant acrylic, keeping the artwork protected while its details remain beautifully visible. The wood is finished with a clear matte lacquer that highlights its natural grain and provides lasting beauty through years of service.
From morning coffee to après-ski drinks, this is functional mountain art you won’t want to tuck away. Style it on your coffee table, make it part of your home bar, or display it upright between gatherings.
For an even more meaningful piece, personalize your map with custom text and icons—a family name, wedding date, or a marker celebrating a special place on the mountain.
Whether you’re searching for unique gifts for skiers, a mountain-home housewarming gift, or a personal wedding or anniversary gift, start with the mountain that means the most.

We don't trace trail maps. We study mountains.
Every Torched Peaks design begins with our SlopeTheory™ process—up to 40 hours of research, design, and refinement for a single mountain. We study satellite imagery, topography, resort maps, photos, videos, and local knowledge to acquaint ourselves with the mountain and understand what makes it distinctive.
We examine the actual width, shape, and pitch of ski runs, how chairlifts follow the terrain, and the landmarks and hidden details that give each resort its character. Photos and videos are especially valuable for understanding how popular runs and terrain are actually experienced—not simply how they appear on a traditional trail map.
Then we add some personality. Skier and snowboarder icons highlight notable groomers, mogul runs, glades, terrain parks, and race trails, while wildlife and other details are chosen to reflect species and features native to the region. And hidden somewhere in every map is a small Torched Peaks Yeti—our signature Easter egg.
Backed by more than 15 years of ski resort industry experience, that research is translated into original artwork designed to feel true to the mountain—not simply reproduce its trail map.
This is SlopeTheory™—our approach to understanding a mountain before we turn it into art.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship exceeded expectations. We were so excited to hang this in our cabin, and it's such a calming and happy piece. Thank you so much!
It became the centerpiece of our ski cabin in Truckee. Everyone who visits asks about it.
We wanted something more unique than a ski poster. The craftsmanship is incredible and it feels like real artwork instead of decoration
The detail and depth. The photos don't really show how three-dimensional the map is.
We love our new Breckenridge map. It looks great in our cabin and we get a ton of compliments on it. Thank you so much!
Wow! Very original and the detail is stunning. Les 3 Vallées is a favorite place to vacation.
We live in Bozeman and Bridger is our favorite place to ski with the kids. This map exceeded are expectations.very high quality!
The detail on this map is amazing. I've never seen a ski map like this and couldn't be happier.
Love it! Looks great in our cabin.
This is the 2nd map I've purchased and both are amazing. Highly recommend.
We were looking for a poster for our ski room and we're so glad we took a chance. We didn't know wooden maps existed and looks so much better than a poster.
We bought the smaller version and the only regret we have is that we didn't size-up. Very unique map!
Very unique and we get compliments on it all the time. We're going to purchase Purgatory next. Thank you!
Great map. Very interesting and love all of the skier icons.
I bought this for my brother that just bought a home at Wintergreen. He loved it!
This was a gift for our father. It turned out way better than we expected! The craftsmanship and level of detail is amazing. Very well made!
This turned out way better than expected! Very well made and it looks great in our cabin at Wintergreen.
The cribbage board with the Squaw Valley map is a beautiful piece of art that was an incredible "belated" 45-year anniversary gift to my husband. We do have one recommendation: it should be like a lazy Susan where you can spin the board with each person's turn. Again, fabulous and I truly enjoyed working with Rachael, she was wonderful! Annie
I bought this gift for my husband to be. He loves it as much as he loves ripping it on the slopes. I couldn't recommend a Torched Peaks map more.
Looks great nice quality.
Rachael at Torched Peaks was awesome! I asked her to do a special map for my daughter's wedding that they had not done before. She listened to what I wanted and got it done. Love her "can-do" attitude. The map turned out great, and my daughter and her soon-to-be new husband were head over heels, or in his words, "That is sick"!
Great product. Love the picture. Customer service was lacking. Took over a month to get my order. Wont be spending money with this company anymore.

We absolutely love our 3-D map! It’s just as described and came in meticulously packaged. We would gladly order from this group again and highly recommend.
It's hard to find wall art that's both beautiful and personal. Seeing our favorite tahoe mountain every day makes us smile.
The perfect gift for my husband that grew up in Manchester and ski racing at Stratton!
Wow. The map is AMAZING!! I especially love the icons of deer, skiers, bears, etc tucked into the map. It is subtle and fun and adds to the interest of studying the map. The craftsmanship is outstanding. We are thrilled and absolutely worth the investment. Thank you!!
We wanted something unique for our cabin instead of generic ski posters. This was exactly what we were looking for! +++
The quality exceeded expectations. It looks like something you'd find in a high-end mountain lodge
If you're looking for a gift for a skier, this is one of the most thoughtful ones I've found.
The map that was made is a small ski ridge special to my boyfriend and it’s so well done. The attention to detail is incredible and I’m absolutely obsessed with it
Arrived faster than expected and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Thank you!
The custom wood map is beautiful and just as described. Everything about the art work is HIGH QUALITY. I highly recommend if you are looking to add to your home. Thank you!
Super detailed. I gave as a gift and the recipient was blown away by the detail and accuracy.
It looks even better in person than it did online. The craftsmanship is incredible and it's become our favorite piece of ski art in the cabin.
Bought this for my cousin as a housewarming gift. We stayed at their new place in Yellowstone and the piece looks great above their fireplace.
I wasn't sure if the price was going to match my expectation, but it's freaking awesome. Knocked it out of the park, worth every penny, I love it.
Pictures don't do it justice! We love all the little skier and wildlife icons. We even found a yeti, so cute!
If you're shopping for a high quality trail map, look no further. I just received mine and the quality is exceptional, as well as the customer service. First time I ordered from torched peaks and very highly recommend!! What a great gift! Far beyond my expections!
I've bought a lot of ski art over the years, but this is easily the most unique piece.
